Housing of self-supporting distribution cabinets, is made from a high-quality glass-fibre reinforced polyester, providing the cabinet with advantageous properties when mechanical and electrical charateristics are in question, compared with distribution cabinets made from other materials, and intended for the same use.
For easier transportation, the cabinets are assembled from the parts fastened with screws enabling easy dismantling, and a combination of multi-cabinet block system.
On the rear side of the cabinet, threaded bushings are pressed for the elements or base plates fastening. The cabinets are in precipitation and dust-proof IP-44 technique.
Full protection against accidental contact with loaded parts is achieved by the protective insulation system. Thermoinsulating properties of the cabinets prevent interior vapour condensation.
The cabinets are intended for outdoor installation in any climatic condition. Doors are furnished with a lock for the cabinet locking up in three points. Semicylinder lock is to be installed additionally.
The self-supporting cabinets have a special support (base) from polyester, directly buried into
the ground or installed into the cable channel.
Various types of mounting are made possible, as hereunder:
- cabinet over cabinet - double height
- cabinet behind the cabinet - double depth
- side by side cabinets- double width
The self-supporting polyester cabinets are multi-purpose, since used for power distrubution of 1000 A for example, with installed fuse springs, and 8 outputs of 250-400 A or 16 outputs of 160 A or their combination.
